PRIVACY FIRST
Your professional identity can remain protected.
Collab. understands that freelancers and independent professionals may not want their personal identity or client relationships publicly exposed.
For this reason, WORK REMOTE? profiles can use a professional alias rather than displaying a freelancer's full name publicly.
Your public profile does not have to display personal information that is not necessary for professional discovery.
PROTECTING YOUR PORTFOLIO
Your portfolio should showcase your capabilities without exposing confidential information.
Where appropriate:
Client names can be removed
Company names can be anonymised
Personal information must be removed
Confidential project information should not be displayed
Website and professional links must be excluded
Portfolio work should only be shared where you have the necessary rights or permission
Collab. may request accurate personal information privately for verification, administration, payment or legal purposes.
Private information does not necessarily need to appear on your public profile.
